Hearts and Tails Animal Alliance, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in New Hampshire, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need.

Our story began with one unforgettable encounter – a black dog we met during a vacation in Puerto Rico. His dire situation moved us so deeply that we knew we couldn’t walk away. That pivotal moment inspired our mission: to end the unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable animals. We strive to support communities overwhelmed by stray populations, streamline rescue and rehoming efforts, provide essential post-disaster aid for displaced animals, champion the fight against cruelty, and nurture the powerful bond between humans and animals.

Over the years, we’ve invested countless hours into understanding the challenges these animals face, overcoming obstacles, and forging partnerships with compassionate individuals and organizations who share our vision. Our goal is to develop creative, sustainable solutions to the global crisis of homeless animals, and we invite you to join us in this endeavor.
